I've used another brand and this one does seem better. I've noticed no reduction in playability in my strings. The real test will be if the strings last longer than usual.

My twin boys also play tennis and due to the cost of resrings I've used these string savers on their racquets too. They complained about the woodiness of the strings using another string saver. But with these string savers there have been no complaints. (Posted on 10/02/10)
