Anthony Glynn

Anthony is a Club Professional Coach and C.E.O. and Company Director of Your Serve Tennis!

Anthony started his coaching career at age 16 and after three years assisting, completed his Junior Development Coaching Course in 2001, followed by his Club Professional Coaching Course in 2002. He has been involved in many facets of tennis coaching in his 14 years, from starting up Hot Shots programs at Primary Schools, running Optus Junior Gold Tournaments in Melbourne, coaching elite Eastern Region Tennis Squads in preparation for many tennis carnivals and taking squads of players interstate.

Your Serve Tennis was started up in 2008 with the main purpose to “create an environment where players can grow and develop as individuals.” If players can have an enjoyable time playing tennis, while learning the proper techniques and strategies of the game, and want to come back for more, then the company has succeeded.  Your Serve Tennis is a tool to link the clubs in the Yarra Valley Region, so the all tennis players can come play tennis, not just have a regular coaching lesson once a week. 

Anthony has been a big supporter of Tennis Warehouse Australia and continues to this day to purchase all his racquets and equipment through TWA. He has learnt the correct techniques in racquet restringing from Wes Fry, owner of TWA and a Master Racquet Technician, and has developed a very high understanding of racquet technologies and string properties, and his ability to work out the correct racquet for any person is of the highest standard.

As Your Serve Tennis grows in the Yarra Valley Region, regular squad trips to country tournaments in the school holidays will be running, along with regular fun days and inter-club matches with those clubs that are not under the Your Serve Tennis banner.
