Product Description
Until Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour was released, this was our number 1 seller in Babolat string due to the extreme durability, power, comfort and control. The Babolat Pro Hurricane comes in 16 or 17.
Product Review
I used 16 strung at 58lbs and later, 17, also at 58lbs on my AeroPro Drive over about a year and a half. It is quite a stiff string and is reasonably heavy on the arm particularly against harder hitting opponents and on faster surfaces, but as advertised, it is a very durable string. Because it is hard on the arm, I found it far harder to play a defensive game. Upon the switch to using this string (along with the AeroPro Drive, switching from a Wilson nSixOne Team with a hybrid syn gut on crosses and I'm not sure about mains, strung at 61lbs), I did notice a slight decrease in power (and this was attributed to my stroke style and previous tendency to rely on the stiffness of the racquet for power), but my shots tended to be more precise. That said, this string by no means subdues power, and as has been said by others, can add a little pop, though given your stroke allows for it. (Posted on 28/12/11)

Very good control/power balance, but a bit too dry, it lacks a touch of comfort. (Posted on 31/05/09)

I didn't like the Babolat Pro Hurricane string because it had little to no feel and was very stiff. This string made my arm hurt after using it for a few days. You are able to get a good amount of power out of it though. (Posted on 12/07/07)

This string gives you a little extra pop, without any extra spin. There is very little feel, and those that rely on heavy topspin and slice will find their shots flying long as opposed to staying low to the net and dropping in. I wouldn't recommend this string, even for the mains in a hybrid, as the lack of spin potential and a reduced margin for error outweigh any durability benefits.
