Here's a question that might bring about different answers from different people.
Who should start serving the following set after a tie-break?
Playing over the weekend, I always thought that the opposition of the first person who serve in the tie break should serve first in the following set, which I have done so for the past 17 years that I've been playing tennis.
My opposition corrected me, saying that it based on the last person who served in the tie-break, i.e. opposition of the last person who served in the tie break should serve first in the following set. Opposition have been playing pennant for quite sometime now, plus Juniors, etc. I didn't want to get into a silly argument such as this so I let it slide.
After the match, I checked the Pennant Handbook and it stated, the first person who served in the tie-break should be the first person to serve in the first game of the following set.
So what is the correct version? Are Juniors out there playing and learning the wrong tennis rule if the rule stated in the Pennant Handbook is the correct rule?

Found this in the rule-book on the ITF tennis website
"The player/team whose turn it was to serve first in the tie-break game shall be the receiver in the first game of the following set."
Looks like Drewba and I were right.
But this brings about another question.. why is the Pennant Handbook stating something different?
I'm gonna knock the head of the next junior player I meet, who tells me its based on the last server of the tie-break, silly.

It is very simple...
Whoever served first in the tie-break set serves second in the following set. You also change ends after the tie-breaker regardless of the score in the breaker.
What page is it in the pennant book - surely that cant be wrong???

Oops my bad, I mis-read the pennant handbook.
Pennant handbook page 14 states the player who serveed first in the tie break shall receive serve in the following game of the following set.

yeh i think after you Serve first in the tie breaker is like serving first in the set cause you have the advantage serving first in the tie breaker. So it would make sense you serve 2nd in the following set
