As the name suggests the Pure Drive Roddick GT is used by Andy Roddick. Offering a slightly heavier & stiffer frame than the Pure Drive GT, this racquet is sure to appeal to many people. Of course it is also available in both 27 and 27.5 inch frames. This model includes GT Technology which is a hybrid material combining braided carbon fibres and tungsten filaments throughout the entire racquet. This strengthens the frame to reduce torque for greater precision. The Cortex System is still present just above the handle to filter out vibrations which interfere with feel in order to enhance the feel of the ball. This is a heavier weight racquet that uses Babolat's "Woofer System" grommet technology and "Elliptic Geometry" technology. We recommend this racquet to advanced players looking for a racquet with extra weight.

The new Babolat Pure Drive Roddick really improved my game. The power and control from this new racquet is unimaginable compared to the a year ago when I was using another brand of racquet. I've previously used the Pure Drive but getting the new Pure Drive Roddick GT + I have already seen an improvement in my game. This stick gives you massive amounts of spin and the added weight and length makes a huge difference over the standard Pure Drive. Just a truly amazing racquet. (Posted on 26/03/10)
