The Radical Pro is back - with a few changes! The head size has reduced to 98 square inches (630cm2), the balance has gone to 325mm (from 320mm) and the weight has decreased to 310g unstrung. d3o is a futuristic new material which belongs to the "smart materials" category. Head have placed this new material in the shaft of the racquet. This material can change its behaviour under different conditions. This translates on the tennis court with the d3o  allowing the racquet to adapt to the needs of you - the player. On your high impact (or aggressive) shots the smart molecules will lock together within nanoseconds and dramatically increase the stiffness of the whole racquet frame and therefore providing maximum power. On your slower speed impact shots like a slice or drop shot the d3o molecules will absorb the impact therefore providing a softer touch for better feel. This means passing shots will be even harder and drop shots will be more precise!
