Continuing on from a well established model, the BLX Surge has been updated with basalt fibres woven into the graphite for more feel and less vibration. The major traits are still evident in the 2010 version; very spin-friendly, manoeuvrable and stable for a lightweight frame but the basalt has given the racquet a little more flex for extra comfort and control. BLX is the new Wilson racquet technology engineered with BASALT fibers for the perfect feel. Basalt is a natural volcanic rock that can be used in manufacturing and made into ultrafine gold fibers. The Basalt fibers are woven longitudinally with Karophite Black to deliver cleaner feedback and better sensation for the best feel possible.
