| Racquet of my dreams (5/5) | Jan 21, 2008 | Henry | Brisbane QLD AU | |

The greatest racquet I've ever used. It's heavy so it offers ultimate control so you can slam a winner. It has also improved my serves a lot too. |

| An extremely solid racquet in all departments (5/5) | Sep 8, 2007 | AndrewD | West End Qld AU | |

Just solid in all areas and one of the very few 'light-weight' racquets that plays like the 12oz crew. Spin is far better than might be expected from an 18x20 string pattern, touch/feel is excellent, there is a high degree of comfort and the response off the string bed is nicely even, without any dead or hot spots. Volleys are solid and crisp, manoeuvrability is excellent. While the racquet isn't in the Pure Drive bracket for power it has more than enough juice for put-away shots and to force an opponent onto the back foot. Tensions around 50lbs give a nice boost in power and the 18x20 string pattern ensures control is retained. Unlike other light-weight frames (the Dunlop Aerogel 300, for example) the shot response is exceptionally solid/stable due to the closer to Even balance. If players want something more head light the Microgel's swingweight is low enough to allow for re-balancing without adversely affecting mobility. All up, it reminded me of the old Ti Radical MP (the only Radical I've ever liked) and should suit players right across the board in terms of playing style and skill level (I'm an ITN 5 playing mostly doubles on hard courts). |
