I recently switched to this string, after using ashwaway supernick 17" for the last few years. The powernick needs to be strung a little tighter than supernick to get the same bite (I have used this string at max -2 and max -1 on Head Liquidmetal 140, and max -1 on an older Head Ti 160). Really amazing power and feel. I can't really comment on durability as I've only got about 10 matches in to date on the oldest stringing, but no string breaks yet, and less noticable notching than with supernick, which I found had some durability issues. Another great string from ashaway. Great colours too. |
