The effectiveness of this shock dampener is no hype! It's almost kind of a strange sensation when you hit the first ball. Just to give you a reference to how the Gamma No Shock feels: I play with a Head Extreme Pro, and I replaced the standard Head dampener (that came with the racquet) with the Gamma No Shock. There was so little vibration that I had to do a double take at my strings! It improved my game immediately because it removed the shock interference and left me with more feel. Definitely an effective product that lives up to the claims of the manufacturer. I would especially recommend it to anyone playing with poly strings and is concerned about the shock. |
