The Crossbow design features 2 pieces - the frame and the bridge. The bridge is suspended from the frame and moves independently from the frame. This creates a spring or a bow that is loaded during ball impact. Energy gets stored in both the string bed and the bridge. When the ball is released from the string bed the additional energy allows this racquet to have maximum power.

The crossbow technology also features a larger sweetspot creating great performance and solid sound. The great vibration dampening features of the Crossbow come from a special elastomere between the bridge and the frame. Also the Stabiliser reduces vibrations during ball impact with the metal plate swinging in the opposite direction to the flex of the frame. This action counteracts the frames oscillation and stabilizes the racquet.
