Power from a Poly? Review by Ruairi
Quality
Used a full bed in a Prestige Pro @54/52lbs - 1.25mm Gauge

Never though I would say that about a polester string but it's definetly true. This string offers almost as much power as a multifilament at the same tension and gauge and thats very impressive.

This string is one of my favourites to string aswell, Babolat have coated the string which dramatically reduces friction burn but has a secondary advantage in that it allows the mains to slide along the crosses with much less effort therefore increasing the spin potential of the string. Combine this with the soft nature of the RPM becuase it's a newer generation polyester and you are looking at a string that could draw blows with Tecnifibre Blackcode, in terms of spin and power.

The only bad thing I have to say about this string is that becuase of it's shaped appearance and being a soft co-polyester string that the durability side of things isn't great. Its by no means bad but it could definetly do with improving.

Babolat have yet again got another quality string that they can add to their repertoire. A definte must try string if you are looking for a powerful poly. You won't be disappointed! (Posted on 24/05/12)
POWER STRINGS Review by Mic

i tried these strings on my aero pro drive GT and was impressed only for 4 to 5 hours with these strings as my shots and serves got a lot faster and powerful.....but later all of the shots were flying over the baseline....too much power and no good durability (Posted on 8/03/12)
Best string so far Review by Bob_Smith
Quality
I switched to this (17, 58lbs) on my AeroPro Drive a bit under two years ago from Pro Hurricane and have not looked back (however, I am now using 17 on crosses, 16 on mains, 56lbs).
It took a little bit of getting used to as it was more comfortable to play with, but also more dead. Since switching, my forehand has taken on a more vertical motion in general for head high (~5'9"-6'0") bouncing groundstrokes, and to contrast it, I have recently acquired a flat, nearly no spin forehand. The RPM complements both shots well, aiding particularly in the generation of topspin.
In general though, I think the string doesn't have a huge amount of natural pop on flatter shots. I say natural pop, because you can still generate a LOT of pace on a flat shot, but the string doesn't lend itself to doing so as much as other strings might. Its pace comes largely from the generation of spin.
I've found, however, that it isn't the most backhand slice friendly string; a shot I used to employ very often. I assume that the increased spin, the ball comes off the strings in a slightly more floaty manner, which can be advantageous, though for me is generally not. This is also likely due to the fact that my backhand slice involves a very heavy chop, so for those of you with a flatter, more well guided slice, this may well be a non-issue.
I typically don't go out of my way to use drop shots or volleys, so this isn't a huge problem for me, but because of the relatively dead feel of the string, drop shots are somewhat harder to pull off well (but not at all unachievable), and power on volleys can suffer heavily on occasion. This string has so much power compared to pro hurricane tour. Netter at net. Wicked spin.

the members of tennis warehouse will go out of their way to make sure you receive what you ordered. I recently had some trouble with an order of which cost $265 and there were some things that they either didn't stock anymore (wilson super spin) or they ran out (hurricane feel). as soon as they identified an error they will efficiently attended to the situation. Anyway this string is mad. So much more power than pro hurricane tour. Perfect for the clay court specialist.
