Product Description
PWR Fusion features a unique construction providing characteristics that multifilament and polyester strings normally offer separately. Eight layers of multifilament are wrapped around the core which consists of four polyester monofilament strands. This string is for players who want the benefits of extra spin and durability that come from polys but need something with a bit more power and comfort. Gauge: 1.30mm
Product Review
Used the full set in a Head Prestige Pro @ 57/55lbs.

I normally use Signum Pro Tornado at 56lbs, so I wasnt expecting the spin to be any where near the same level which it wasn't but to be fair it's not a traditional full polyester string. Head PWR Fusion is made with a solid polyester core then a multifilament outer layer to soften it's feel. Which worked an absolute treat!
The string was extremely comfortable with very little vibration sent through the string bed. The added comfort comfort combined with the increesed levels of power you could generate through this string makes it very accessible to developing players and the dampened feeling of this string could make it a new possibility for players that have suffered with tennis elbow or shoulder injuries in the past.
Obviously there are a few downsides to having a string that is this soft and plush. Softer strings as a general rule do tend to lose tension much faster then their stiffer counterparts, this loss of tension did significantly add to the power of the string bed which got to an uncontrollable level. Secondly, the string doesn't offer much in the way of spin potential even though it has a very rough surface which adds to the strings 'bite' but not to its spin.

Used as hybrid Mains Rip Control and PWR Fusion on Cross @ 59/57 in a PS6.1 Classic 16x18

Spin generation on the serve was very good in combination, but found a lot of my first serves lacked control. Top spin serves were effective, but thats the only consistency I could get.
For the ground strokes I found too much power and was not able to control anything. I couldn't attack the ball effectively on either side without hitting it too far.
Volleys were quite bad. I found it to be very bouncy. Lost feel. No control, but i was able to smash quite effectively.
Ive had to cut these out after 3 hours of play. I was not able to control the power.
I would recommend this string to those who have very short swings that require a bit more depth in their flat game.
Stay clear if you generate your own pace or have fast long swings. Going to all Rip Control @59. Sonic Pro is also very good @59 (less spin).
