Product Description

Tecnifibre X.Code is a new type of string combining multifilament polyurethane with monofilament polyester. The result is a high performance string providing the crispness of a poly but with extra forgiveness due to the added elasticity of multifilament strands.

This string will suit players who prefer a softer feeling poly or those who normally use a hybrid setup.

Great string Review by leo sun

This string right out of the package feels very soft, but it still gives a clean, crisp sensation at the time of contact with the ball. This string was very soft and forgiving on my arm and very nice to play with. I could generate nice spin but the control was amazing. I would also give the string out of ten, an 9 for feel and 8 for control. Don't get me wrong i could still easeily generate power with this string. Overall a great string.Definatly should buy this one. (Posted on 10/11/10)
Plenty of Power Review by Josef
Quality
A soft polyester string, pretty easy to string if you doing it yourself. Tested on Tecnifibre TFlash 315 SpeedFlex at 55lbs, I was able to generate spin similar if not better than black code. The string feels more springy than other traditional poly in the market hence fells like you have extra power / pop but less control. When hitting flats , pretty easy to get the ball off the backline, but once you get use to it, its actually pretty enjoyable, and feels easier on your arm (on impact). Overall a pretty good string, but for the price I will consider other option. (Posted on 8/11/10)
It's Soft but.... Review by Peter
Quality

Firstly, I’d like to thank Tennis Warehouse Australia for giving me the opportunity to test the string. The softness of the string is unlike any I have previously tried. Unlike nearly all other co-polys, I experienced no elbow pain. For any tennis elbow sufferer, feeling no pain whilst playing is always a blessing. In saying so, the softness of the string may be one of its only strengths. Durablilty is well below average in comparison to other soft co polyesters/monofilaments. It lasted 3 weeks in comparison to other copoly’s such as Signum Pro Tornado in which last 6-7 weeks before breaking. The string is not textured meaning spin is also hard to generate.
As stated previously, the string was very easy to play with. Ground strokes suffered a little because of a lack of texture on the string, yet serves and volleys felt great.
This string is reasonable for a flat hitter, looking for an alternative to a hybrid.

Not the best I've tried. Review by Marcus
Quality
The benefits of this string are it's softer feel due to being mutlti and it still provides good power and ball bite despite this softness. However it just does not compare to my Signum Pro mono-filament. I very quickly noticed less spin and power being imparted to the ball and the tecnifibre also has very low durability; the string had started to fray after one session.

I use the KPS 88 and strung two racquets at 55 to test this string. Maybe 55 is too high for a multi, I'm not sure.

A nice string form Tecnifibre Review by Alistair Thompson
Quality
This is a very nice string which is not really a suprise since Tecnifibre have been producing some pretty good strings like the Black code. I use a Pure Drive Roddick + and had it strung at 60lbs. This is a very thick string I normally prefer a thinner string but it preforms really well. It gave me great control, topspin and power when needed. The string paint starts to peel off very quickly though which is the only downside so far. All in all this is a very nice string only wish it was thinner. It gave me great control and power and was very soft. I would recommend this string to other players and think that Tecnifibre are making some of the best strings out there. (Posted on 7/11/10)
