Product Description
Tecnifibre red code is a great string offering durability, control and spin...
Product Review
I USUALLY love reading comments so that I can find out about differing combinations to use. But here I feel that you guys are incorrectly giving this string a bad name. I have experimented with many different types of strings in main (I always hybrid) including Lux BB Alu Power 17G, Bab PH 17G, Bab PHT 17G, Cyber Flash and Cyber Blue at 17G, Technifibre Redcode 17G, and SPPP.
Quality
Yes, of course I loved the response that I got from the Alu Power but I would definitely rate the Redcode as being up there. If you know what you're doing, then you can get an amazing combination of spin, control and power. My overall evaluation, good value for money (especially when it's on sale now).
My setup:
Wilson (K) Tour (95sq inch head)
Mains: Tech Redcode 17G (53lb)
Cross: Gosen Micro OG 17G (56lb)
In the future, I will use a thicker cross string. Am still on the market. (Posted on 27/09/09)
This string is too stiff. No comfort at all and i cannot get any direction on the ball

DO NOT BUY IT ! (Posted on 29/03/09)
this string just didint do it for me. while having a great look on the racquet it doesnt provide much else. the string is very thin and doesnt give you the service its price tag says it should (Posted on 24/01/09)

For a poly string this aint my cup of tea!
Quality
Very thin and lots of vibration in this string, feels more like a syn gut than a poly. Very little power/spin.
One minor positive is that the string had a reasonable feel on drop shots and volleys.
Also the $40 re-string price tag is no good (too expensive!) for this string, At this price I would go for the Big Banger (or Big Banger hybrid with Monotek) a far superior string.
The most similar string compared to the Red Code is the Bab Hurricane Pro...I found that to be much better.
According to my tennis friend in Europe punters are raving about this string in Europe....although I have idea why? Will be sure to give him a serving (literally!) in a few weeks time!
