Product Description

A pressureless tennis ball, but one that uses Micro Cellular technology. The Micro X Balls have the best reputation for Coaching or Ball Machine usage. These balls offer great consistency and playability.

The Tretorn Micro Cellular Technology is patented worldwide and is classified in a new category of tennis balls called "micro cell." A conventional ball when hit flattens on the strings and resistance is povided by the compressed air within the ball. Every time the ball is hit small amounts of air escapes. In these Tretorn Micro X balls, the resistance is provided by 700 million air-filled micro cells that cannot escape through the ball's rubber core.

Each Micro X ball is surfaced with Tretorn's exclusive Flex-Felt, which provides superior playability and wear resistance. Flexibility is critical in protecting the soft rubber core.

These bulk tubs are perfect for coaches, clubs, schools and ball machine owners.

These balls will never go flat, so they are very economical. Depending on the surface you use these on, you can get months or years out of these before eventually the felt will wear off the outside. The felt is extra durable to provide the maximum life possible.

Pressureless balls are a better option for ball machines because they all have the same bounce and feel which can allow you to achieve consistency from the shots fired.

Note: These are 2 tone balls (white/yellow)

Very good indeed Review by Alex

I bought a tub of 90 back in 06 from TWA. I'm not the most fanatical player but I figured 5+ years is long enough to review them.

I haven't gotten scientific with the process and measured how long it takes for them to lose colour and fluff.

Suffice it to say though I'm very happy with them.

Note: the dying process with these balls is the opposite to normal balls - these become VERY fast and bouncy when they lose their fluff. (Posted on 20/09/11)
