good control, great for flat hitters Review by Tun Federer

I have long anticipated a box designed frame with 95 head size to replace my 110 ncode 6. at first, I'm quite skeptical to replace my old racquet since I think if you are really good, no matter what stick you use, the result is the same. But since I don't have other spare sticks, so I think well, why not try getting this stick for a try.

I strung it with Luxilon Supersense 125 at 55Ibs and the moment i hit with the stick, I know there's a big difference with the old one I have. The ball hardly goes out with the same style of hitting and there seems to be an added spin. since I lack of the topspin techniques and mostly hitting flat, this racquet is an answer to my problem without changing much of my playing style :)

Some review that I read from other sites said that this racket is lightweight, but to me its quite ok since my ncode 6 110 seems to be lighter. Control and spin wise increased with this stick and as of power, I don't really need it that much as I can generate it from a long flat swing.

overall I really love this stick, feels like a bit of Federer and it attracts lots of attention too! :)

Classic Feel Review by Shaun

About me: Advanced player currently using Youtek IG Speed MPs with Yonex Poly Tour Pro.

I've always been a fan of the tour 90 but felt it's like playing with a handicap due to the mid size head, and is a bit hefty over a long match. When I saw a 95 version was being released I was very keen to try it out.

From the baseline this would have to be my favourite frame new to 2012, if there was such thing as a one-handers racquet this is it. I will often run around my backhand to hit forehands but for some reason I felt more confident in my backhand with the 95. Incredibly maneuverable due to the head light balance I felt comfortable taking big swipes at the ball and found excellent spin potential with this racquet. It is truly a player's stick as it will only benefit those generating fast swing speeds due to the lack of power within the frame. I found more than enough stability although it can be quite harsh if you catch the ball towards the outside of the string bed.

Volleys were crisp and responsive, once again the head light balance helps to move around the net without being hindered by excessive weight. It did take a little adjusting on serve as it has a pretty low swing weight, I found it a bit underpowered which was not unexpected. This frame is all about precision and I was putting serves exactly where I wanted them to go and kickers were getting some nice jump out wide.

I had it strung with Big Banger @ 55lbs which was definitely too tight for the racquet, I would recommend stringing between 45-50lbs for a stiff poly. Overall a very impressive frame, if I was on the market for new racquets this would be the number 1 contender. (Posted on 6/02/12)
