The WISE 2090 Calibration scale is a premium, tension-reading device designed to check the accuracy of your stringing machine. The backlit, digital display leaves no questions as to what tension is actually being pulled, sometimes on spring-loaded calibration scales it can be difficult to get an exact reading on the ruler scale. Being able to read tension to the nearest 0.05 lb is more precise than most stringing machines can increases increments of.
An essential tool for stringers who care about doing a good job. If you string for clients or friends then you should know that your machine is pulling accurate tensions.
Using this simple tool you can measure (in kilograms or pounds) the tension your stringing machine is actually pulling. The next time you string a racquet at 58 pounds you will know that you are accurately doing so.
Instructions for use:
Cut a short length of string (even scrap will do). Pass the string through to the racquet clamp furthest from the tensioner then loop it into one of the links in the 2090. Place the 2090 in the center of the clamp and tensioner. Use another small piece of string and pass it through the other link and to the open jaws of the gripper attached to the tensioner. Compare the 2090 reading to the setting on your machine. Adjust your machine if necessary.
Accuracy is +/- 0.05 lbs
Min pull 1 lb
Max pull 90 lbs
Exceeding 90 lbs will damage the Calibrator.
1 year warranty.
