UL stands for ultra-lightweight, and the Boom MP UL Alternate 2026 is lighter and more manoeuvrable than the standard Boom MP Alternate and Boom MP models. This makes it ideal for beginners, intermediate players and up-and-coming juniors who are looking for easy, effortless power and who like to attack. The ultra-light feel allows players to swing faster with less effort, boosting confidence and fun on the court while still delivering the explosive power the Boom series is known for.
Part of the Boom family, which offers the highest power level in the Head tennis racquet universe, the Boom MP UL Alternate 2026 combines that signature power with impressive touch. Hy-Bor technology, an advanced aerospace-inspired material, has been added to the shaft to enhance perceived stability and deliver a more solid impact feel. A new AI-developed 16/19 string pattern, created using artificial intelligence and refined through player feedback, is engineered to optimise both power and touch. Auxetic 2.0 technology ensures a more connected feel to the ball, improving feedback at contact and helping players feel more in tune with every shot.
The beam and grommet system are designed to enhance power, while directional drilling adds extra touch and comfort. Returns & Exchanges:
Provided you have not used your racquet or product & it's in exactly the same condition as when we sent it to you, we are happy to refund your money or offer an exchange if it is returned within 30 days of your purchase. A tennis racquet or product cannot be returned if you simply change your mind after hitting with the racquet or using the product, so please choose carefully! You must send the racquet/product back to us and postage is at your own cost. We do not provide a refund on a racquet if you have requested that we install strings for you (racquets that were sold as unstrung or pre-strung will be accepted for a refund). Afterpay orders can only be exchanged for a product or gift certificate.
If you are exchanging a product, we offer free shipping of the replacement product from us to you (Australian residents only and excludes bulky items). We do not offer free shipping to New Zealand customers and will provide a quote before proceeding.
