Endorsed by Gauff and Lorenzo Musetti, this alternate version combines bold, progressive style with the easy power and confidence the Boom series is known for.
A lighter and more powerful version of the Boom MP Alternate, this model is designed for intermediate players who want effortless access to pace and the freedom to attack. The lighter weight allows for faster swings and easier manoeuvrability, while still maintaining the explosive feel that defines the Boom family. Power is balanced with impressive touch, giving players the ability to execute delicate drop shots and controlled placement when required.
Part of the Boom series, which offers the highest power level in the Head tennis racquet universe, the Boom MP L Alternate 2026 blends modern performance technologies with a fun, energetic playing experience. Hy-Bor technology, an advanced aerospace-inspired material, has been added to the shaft to enhance perceived stability and create a more solid impact feel.
A new AI-developed 16/19 string pattern, created using artificial intelligence and refined through player feedback, is engineered to optimise both power and touch. Auxetic 2.0 technology ensures a more connected feel to the ball, providing clearer feedback and greater confidence at contact. The beam and grommet system are designed to enhance power, while directional drilling delivers extra touch and comfort.
With its tonal purple design and explosive on-court response, the Boom MP L Alternate 2026 combines standout aesthetics with accessible performance.

Returns & Exchanges:
Provided you have not used your racquet or product & it's in exactly the same condition as when we sent it to you, we are happy to refund your money or offer an exchange if it is returned within 30 days of your purchase. A tennis racquet or product cannot be returned if you simply change your mind after hitting with the racquet or using the product, so please choose carefully! You must send the racquet/product back to us and postage is at your own cost. We do not provide a refund on a racquet if you have requested that we install strings for you (racquets that were sold as unstrung or pre-strung will be accepted for a refund). Afterpay orders can only be exchanged for a product or gift certificate.
If you are exchanging a product, we offer free shipping of the replacement product from us to you (Australian residents only and excludes bulky items). We do not offer free shipping to New Zealand customers and will provide a quote before proceeding.
