The Spinfire Inferno is a high quality table top wind back machine, but combined with a WISE Tension Head it becomes even more powerful. We provide this combo by removing the winding mechanism and instead providing the WISE Tension Head which works out cheaper than buying them both separately. We also include a height adaptor which you can optionally install to provide 360 degree turning of your racquet without colliding with the gripper.
The WISE Tension Head is a fully electronic head which braces onto the existing track of the Inferno. It provides "constant pull" which is not available on the Inferno on its own. It also has a linear string gripper which is generally not seen on machines under $3,900.
By combining these two machines together, you can purchase a professional machine at half the price!
This machine is capable of stringing tennis, squash and badminton racquets. It comes standard with the new V50 clamps which you can see here. The v50 clamps are hybrids, meaning they will string tennis, squash or badminton racquets. No need for different clamps for different racquets.
You can also upgrade the base clamps from the standard base clamps to the automatic base clamps (see price in drop down box on this page) while buying your machine. Watch this video for more information:
Comparing the standard base clamps to the automatic base clamps:
The WISE Tension Head is easy to use and you can purchase an optional foot pedal to speed up your stringing time even further. The machine now comes standard with the diablo which protects the string from damage in the gripper and helps raise the string height to minimise friction on the frame.
How to string a tennis racquet
If you want to learn more about the process of stringing a tennis racquet, please watch the videos below.
When stringing we recommend using the Pro Knot. When done correctly the knot is very compact with the end of the string neatly tucked against the frame. It is fast, easy to do, and very secure with no spillage or breakage issues with all string types.
