The Functional Tennis Saber Junior is lighter and shorter at 240 grams and 23" long, designed to replicate the sweet spot of a 25" junior racquet. It is an on-court training aid designed to help players improve timing, ball tracking, footwork and clean contact. This version is designed for 6-10 year olds not yet ready for an adult racquet. It plays like a regular 25" junior tennis racquet, but with a much smaller 37 sq in head, encouraging your child to focus on finding the sweet spot with every shot.

Use the Saber for just 10 minutes during your regular warm-up and you can start building better consistency, cleaner technique and more confidence under pressure.

The Saber is made from a mixed composite construction of carbon fibre and fibreglass, giving it a quality feel straight out of the bag. It comes pre-strung and is ready to use on court.

Stringing Information

The Saber can be strung on all manual stringing machines and most automatic machines. If available, a badminton kit is recommended for automatic machines, although it is not essential.

Only 6 metres of string is required, which is around half a standard set. This means one regular set of string can provide approximately two restrings for the Saber.

Returns & Exchanges:
Provided you have not used your racquet or product & it's in exactly the same condition as when we sent it to you, we are happy to refund your money or offer an exchange if it is returned within 30 days of your purchase. A tennis racquet or product cannot be returned if you simply change your mind after hitting with the racquet or using the product, so please choose carefully! You must send the racquet/product back to us and postage is at your own cost. We do not provide a refund on a racquet if you have requested that we install strings for you (racquets that were sold as unstrung or pre-strung will be accepted for a refund). Afterpay orders can only be exchanged for a product or gift certificate.

If you are exchanging a product, we offer free shipping of the replacement product from us to you (Australian residents only and excludes bulky items). We do not offer free shipping to New Zealand customers and will provide a quote before proceeding.

International orders:

We do ship to New Zealand, however, we do have some limitations placed on us by certain brands.

We have a filter on the left hand side of the website, International Availability, that will show you what products can be shipped to your area.

If your order does require payment for one or more of these charges, you will have to make payment to the relevant authority in your country before they will release your package through customs so that it can continue being delivered.

Any delays to the advised shipping timeline incurred from this process are the burden of the purchaser and not Tennis Warehouse Australia.

If you refuse the charges, your order will be returned to us. We will refund you the total of your order minus any shipping fees and any charges incurred from the return process by the carrier.
